Trip Overview
The Ultimate Adventure in Nepal: Everest Three High Passes Trek
The Everest Three High Passes Trek is one of the most adventurous trekking routes in Nepal. This Package takes you to the daunting 3 high passes of the Everest region. These are Kong Ma La Pass, Cho La Pass, and Renjo La Pass. Nepal Intrepid Treks has expertly designed and rerouted the trail for the Everest Three High Passes Trek. We could give you maximum adventure in a very low price. Our years of experience have helped to create this amazing trekking in Nepal package.
How to explore: The Everest Three High Passes Trek
The usual trekking in the Everest region of Nepal starts from Kathmandu to the Lukla mountain flight. The usual route put forward by the various Trekking in Nepal agencies would be followed by us also until Namche Bazaar; however, from this place, once acclimatisation is done, we will trek from the Renjo La Pass instead of the Kong Ma La Pass.
The reason behind starting the Everest Three High Pass Trek from Renjo La instead of Kong Ma La Pass is that this pass is relatively easier than the remaining two passes, which will make our trekkers feel acclimatised once they embark towards the other two strenuous passes. Once you have passed the Renjo La, then the mystical Gokyo Ri and world-famous high altitude glacial lake Gokyo Lakes would appear on your way.
The night spent in the banks of the Gokyo Lake resembles that of staying in a fairyland. The majestic views of the Khumbu glacier and the Himalayan range from your hotel room window could be the best highlight of your Everest Three High Passes Trek. From Gokyo Lake, the trekking would be towards Chola Pass en route to Gorak Shep. From Gorakshep, your trekking would be towards the epitome of the mountains, the Mount Everest Base Camp. The enchanting views and the chance to witness the sunrise from the Kala Patthar are the highlights of the trek.
Once you have savoured the delights of Mount Everest, you will trek towards Kong Ma La pass. From there, you will continue on your journey, eventually leading you to Lukla. Along the way, you will pass by Namche Bazaar and Phakding before flying back to Kathmandu. The overall trekking in the Everest Three High Passes package for Nepal Trekking would be a mixture of adventure. Additionally, it would include an adrenaline rush, fear of the unknown, **as well as** nature, mountains, Sherpa, **along with** mountain flight and the chilled mountain air madness.

Incredible Everest Three Passes Trek – Second Time with Nepal Intrepid Treks!
This was my second time visiting Nepal. The first time, I did the Annapurna Base Camp Trek and this time I came for the Everest region. Initially, I planned to do the Everest Base Camp Trek but after doing some research I discovered the Everest Three Passes Trek which includes Everest Base Camp plus other amazing destinations. I decided to go for this longer and more adventurous route.
I contacted the team at Nepal Intrepid Treks again as I had previously trekked with them during my Annapurna trip and I was very happy with their service back then. Once again they did not disappoint. Someone from the team personally came to pick me up at the airport and we started the trek from Lukla.
During the trek, I was really surprised to find such a variety of food even pizza, coffee, and other comforts in such remote areas. I was also deeply impressed by the local culture and the kindness of the people especially the Sherpa community.
The views during the trek especially from the high passes and Everest Base Camp were absolutely outstanding. Everything was well organized and I felt safe and supported throughout the journey.
A huge thank you to the entire Nepal Intrepid Treks team for making this trip safe, exciting, and unforgettable.
Highly recommended!
Everest Three Passes – A Trek of a Lifetime with Nepal Intrepid Treks
The Everest Three Passes Trek was the best trek of my life, an adventure I will never forget. I completed this incredible journey with Nepal Intrepid Treks, and their service made all the difference.
During the trek, I got sick with stomach pain due to gastric issues. It was a tough moment, but the guide was truly amazing. He gave me medicine and took great care of me. The support I received during that time was fantastic, and I felt very safe and cared for.
I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, kindness, and service provided by Nepal Intrepid Treks throughout the entire trip. They truly go above and beyond for their clients.
A special thank you to Lal Gurung, Managing Director of Nepal Intrepid Treks, and the entire team for making this trek possible and unforgettable.
