Nepal Intrepid Treks will be your dedicated travel companion until you return to your home country. Once you arrive at Kathmandu airport, we will be there to pick you up and take you to your hotel. Take in the impressions of Nepal as we drive you from the airport to your hotel. We will assist you with the check-in and provide you with further information regarding your Everest Luxury Trek. You may then have a rest or stroll through the bustling, colorful streets and alleys of Kathmandu.

Today is the day your Everest Luxury and comfortable Trek starts. From the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport you will take a flight to Lukla– a thrilling experience owning to the dramatic location of its airport. During the flight, you will get some stunning views of mountains arranged like a row of thorns. At Lukla airport, you will take your first step in the Khumbu region of Nepal, home to the highest peak in the world – Mt. Everest.

From Lukla, your guide will lead you along the trail, while passing countless prayer wheels, which you can spin clockwise to activate the mantra’s that are written on the scrolls.  Descending towards the Dudh Koshi River, and cross a suspension bridge. We then continue the path to Phakding – a small village and our stopping point for the day. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Phakding (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Leaving Phakding, we follow the trail that weaves up and down through villages and gorgeous rhododendron forests. You will pass donkeys, yaks and Sherpas carrying tremendous loads on their backs, as there are no roads in the Himalayas.  We enter Sagarmatha National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site– and walk to the village of Jorsalle from where we follow the river. We cross two swinging bridges – one suspended on a higher level above the other, which makes for a fantastic photo opportunity – and pass the village of Monjo. From there, we walk uphill for roughly three hours along beautiful valleys, picturesque villages and ever-smiling and friendly inhabitants, until we reach Namche Bazaar.

Namche is a popular place in the Khumbu region. It used to be a trading capital during ancient times for its residents and Tibetan people. Even today it is still the most bustling town in the Khumbu region, with many colorful shops, an internet cafe, a Danish bakery and lovely places to stay. If you are looking for souvenirs or trekking gear, you will find it here. Namche is also known as the Gateway to Everest, as it is the only way to get to Everest Base Camp. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Our journey for the day is colorful and vibrant. As we leave Namche and head towards Tashinga, we come across a beautiful path adorned with colorful player flags, mani stones and chortens which reflects the Buddhist religion and customs prevalent in this area. Today, we walk along an easy trail that will lead us the Tashinga. Our journey for the day is quite pleasing. We stop at a luxurious lodge in Tashinga for the night. Even the guesthouses offer some majestic views of mountains in the Everest region of Nepal. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

This is the most exciting day of our journey as we move close to the mountains in the Everest region of Nepal. We leave the village of Tashinga and walk ahead under the backdrop of the alluring mountains to Tengboche monastery. Tengboche monastery is a popular monastery in the Everest region of Nepal. Any fellow travelers heading towards Everest Base Camp would stop here to visit this monastery. Apart from its religious aspect, the stunning views of the mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Tabuche that this place offers is nothing like you have ever seen before. The views would be more close, more clear and mesmerizing. After beholding the beauty of mountains in Everest, we walk back to Tashinga for overnight stay. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Today, we descend down to the hidden valley of Khumjung village. In Khumjung, there is a monastery called Khumjung monastery. We visit the monastery and head towards Khunde Hospital. Kunde hospital is another major attraction in Khumjung. We spend our night at a luxurious guesthouse in Mende. The hotel where you stay would offer some fantastic views of the mountains like Mt. Thamserku, Kongde Ri, Khumbila and Kusum Kangaru, etc. you can sit back admiring the majestic mountains in the region. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Today, we spend our day exploring the Thame village. This small and beautiful village lies at the end of the Khumbu valley lies a beautiful village called Thame village. Everest region gets many travelers throughout the year therefore the touch of modernization can be seen in every step of travel however; Thame village is still able to maintain its integrity intact. We walk around the village the whole day and get some insights on people, their culture, custom and lifestyle. We even visit a monastery called Karag Monastery that is built in here. In the evening, we wrap up our excursion journey to Thame and return back to our luxurious guesthouse at Mende for overnight stay. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

We continue our journey back to Namche, and further still until we reach Phakding. The Dudh Koshi River, suspension bridge and the lush landscape are reverse flashbacks of the trail you took earlier on. Only this time you walk it with the knowledge that you are one of the fortunate people who reached Everest Base Camp. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Phakding. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Today, we retrace our footsteps back to Lukla through the same well paved path to Lukla. We can enjoy the views of lush landscape, mountains and Dudhkoshi river as we mark our journey back to Lukla. Spend your night at a luxurious guesthouse in Lukla. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Today you bid a goodbye to the Khumbu region of Nepal. After so many highlights, such an exhilarating experience and so much beauty this region has showed you, you will take a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla airport. Upon your arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel in Kathmandu. The rest of the day is at your convenience, whether you want rest or just wander around. Overnight stay at the hotel (breakfast included).

After these beautiful and luxurious days in Everest region of Nepal, it’s finally time to bid you a goodbye! Your guide will escort you to the airport before your scheduled flight. Hope you had a very good time with us!
