The interesting route of the Gurung Heritage Trail Trek begins with your arrival in Kathmandu. It is followed by a flight to Pokhara, from where you walk past diverse terrain like lush hills, valleys, forests and charming villages to alpine landscape and high altitude landmarks such as Krapu Cho, Taprang, Thulek and Gurung Deurali. Gurung Deurali at 4910 meters is the highest point of the trek that offers some mind-blowing views of mountains and high altitude terrain. The trek also provides an opportunity to hike to a glacial lake popularly known as Dudh Pokhari. To sum up, the trek is a perfect blend of nature, culture and mountain adventure. The trail takes us to some of the untouched sections of the Annapurna region and offers some best aspects of the Gurung people and culture.
