Nepal Intrepid Treks will be your dedicated travel companion until you return to your home country. Once you arrive at Kathmandu airport, we will be there to pick you up and take you to your hotel. Accommodation for our valued customers includes room and breakfast in a three star hotel in Kathmandu.

Take in the impressions of Nepal as we drive you from the airport to your hotel. We will assist you with the check-in and provide you with further information regarding your trip. You may then have a rest or stroll through the bustling, colorful streets and alleys of Kathmandu.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu for a guided tour. Our site of visit for today includes:

Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is an ancient artistic and grand palace built by Malla kings in the medieval period. It lies in the heart of Kathmandu and remains busy most of the time. The art, architecture, craftworks and designs manifested in the pillars, buildings and windows of the palace are magnificent. The palace is surrounding by many small temples which gives it an alluring look.

Swayambhunathstupa –It is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley. It lies on a top of a hill and is a perfect vantage point to see the whole Kathmandu valley. As the stupa has many monkeys, the stupa is also popularly known as the Monkey Temple. You can find the large statues of Buddha, monasteries and gompas and influence of Buddhism in this stupa.

Pashupatinath stupa – it is an oldest temple of Lord Shiva that holds a high value amongst the Hindu pilgrims. You can find the buildings that are older than the life. Only Hindus are allowed to enter this temple. For others, you can enjoy the surrounding area that consists of crematorium where dead bodies are burnt into ashes. The unique features Sandhus – people who have rubbed their body with ashes and have dread locked is a unique feature to see here.

Boudhanath stupa –It is the largest Buddhist stupa in the world. We can see the monks busy chanting their ritual going around this temple.

After accomplishing our sightseeing tour, we drive towards Nagarkot. On the way, we visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square – It is a palace built during the Malla reign in Nepal. The palace is a beautiful work of art and architecture. The wood carved pillars, eyes windows, statues, designs, everything about the palace is so grand and artistic. It reflects the interest of royal kings in art and grandness. We visit the Nyatapol temple, fifty five windowed palaces, Changunarayan and many other attractions of the durbar square.

After visiting these places of importance, we drive towards Nagarkot. Overight at a hotel in Nagarkot (Breakfast included)

Early in the morning, we head towards a view tower in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a popular vantage point and hill station for endeavouring the beauty of towering mountains in lush environment. You can enjoy the view the 360 degree panorama of mountains from the windows of your hotel too. After beholding the beauty of the mountains from Nagarkot, we drive towards Kathmandu via Patan. On the way, we visit Patan Durbar Square which is also amongst the UNESCO listed heritage sites. The art and culture are manifested in the palace in the same way as in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We visit the Bangalamukhi temple, Krishna mandir and visit the museum inside the durbar square. After exploring the durbar square, we return back to Kathmandu to our hotel for overnight stay. Today we take a drive to our next destination – Chitwan National Park. Early in the morning, we take a vehicle and drive through the lush countryside landscape of Nepal along Trishuliriver. After around six to seven hours, we reach Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, we take a short briefing about the jungle tour. At around 4:00 p.m. we stroll around the ethnic Tharu villages nearby the area. We also visit the visitor’s centre at the national park. We walk up to the bank of the Raptiriver for the mesmerizing sun set view. Spend your night at a hotel in the park.

Today is an exciting day where you will be close to the wildlife in its natural habitat. Your schedule for the day is as follows:

6:00 a.m. Wake up early in the morning and get ready for the safari today.

6:30 a.m. Breakfast time! Make yourself energetic with a delicious breakfast.

7:30 a.m. You can enjoy your time with a canoe ride along Raptiriver. You can also walk around the jungle area enjoying the peacefulness of the dense forest. The birds chirping, leaves dancing and the wild sound in the quiet environment can be an amazing experience.

1:30 p.m. After exploring the jungle and enjoying canoe ride, enjoy your lunch and get ready for the jungle safari next.

15:00 p.m. After lunch and rest for a while, ride on an elephant’s back as it walks between the dense forests. Encounter wild animals like rhesus monkey, wild cats, boar, jackals, grey langur, mongoose, snakes, sloth, etc. Chitwan National Park is a delightful place to watch varieties of migrant birds. You can take good pictures and enjoy the ride as you immerse inside the deep jungle.

20:00 p.m. Enjoy your dinner.

Wake up and enjoy your breakfast. Visit the elephant breeding centre at the national park and get amused by the little ones of an elephant. After visiting the breeding centre, walk around the jungle and pack your bags for your journey to the birthplace of Lord Buddha – Lumbini. Upon your arrival, check in to the hotel and take a short walk along the Lumbini heritage site. In the evening, return back to hotel for overnight stay. (Breakfast included)

Early in the morning, we start our sightseeing tour in Lumbini. We visit the Mayadevi temple, Ashoka pillar and artistic monasteries built by various nations inside the heritage area. We take photographs and wind up our tour with a drive to the lakeside city – Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara. (Breakfast included)

We wake up early and take a drive to Sarangkot for the mesmerizing sunrise view.Sarangkot is a popular vantage point in Annapurna region that offers best views of the mountains in the Annapurna region like Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Macchapucchre and many more. After beholding the beauty of sunrise amidst the stunning mountains, we return back to Pokhara for a sightseeing tour. We visit a temple in between the Fewalake and enjoy boating. We visit David’s falls, Gupteshwor temple and International mountaineering museum. In the evening, we return back to our hotel. We spend our night in the hotel. (Breakfast included)

After exploring the glory of Pokhara and western region of Nepal, we drive back to Kathmandu with the scenery of country side landscape all along which is a beautiful experience in itself.
