Nepal Adventure Tour: World heritage sites & hiking

Nepal Adventure Tour starts from the capital city of Kathmandu. On the first day, you will be escorted to the UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square is a magnificent ancient palace placed in the heart of Kathmandu. It is a beautifully built palace with art and craftworks manifested in abundance. It holds the history that dates back to a century during the medieval period of Malla reign. The guided tour is followed by a visit to Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhanath temple respectively.

These are some beautiful locations that give you some insights on Hindu and Buddhist religion. Leaving Kathmandu, Nepal Adventure Tour takes you Charaundi for a rafting experience. Rafting in the wild and fast rapids of Trishuli river is an adventurous task that makes your tour worth it. Likewise, after accomplishing the rafting adventure, you will be headed to Pokhara, one of the beautiful locations in Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will remain wanderlust owning to the beautiful views and awesome vibes that its lakeside city gives. From Pokhara, we take a drive to Nayapul to initiate our trekking journey to Ghorepani. We start walking along the foothills of Annapurna and pass various ethnic settlements in between to Ghorepani Poon hill, which is considered as a perfect place to relish the glory of Annapurna massif along with the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset view. The walk to Poon hill is followed by a walk to the charming village of Gandruk. Ghandruk village is popular for the hostile people and views of the lush landscape it offers.

Next on the chart is a drive to Chitwan National park for exploring the wildlife in their natural habitat from so close. Enjoy elephant ride, jeep drive, and campfire as you reach the national park. Day 06: Early morning hike to Poonhill (3210m) for sunrise then trek to Tadapani (2,600 m) – 7 hours
Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1,900 m) – 3 hours
Day 08: Trek to Nayapul about 4 hours and drive to Pokhara 1.5 hour
Day 09: Drive to Chitwan National Park – 5/6 hours

An unforgettable journey to ABC
I joined Wildman's tour to Nepal for ABC trekking at the end of March, and during the trekking we were taken well care of by Nepal Intrepid Treks and Expedition. The local guides are professional, friendly and always know what we need before we ask for help, and the porters are honest and reliable. I believe that without their hard work, it is impossible for me to complete this amazing journey. A month has passed, the towering mountains, the blooming azaleas and the guides and porters’ dedication to their work are still vivid in my memory and it seems like only yesterday. Highly recommended!
