Short and easy Trekking in Nepal!
Chisapani Nagarkot Hiking starts from Sundarijal from where we climb up steep along the stone paved staircases. We enter Shivapuri National Park and continue through the staircase until we open up to a mudded path. Then we walk straight for a while enjoying the lushness and serenity in nature until we open up to the beautiful mountains right before us. Then, we start descending down to Chisapani with the close of views of mountains to our left.
Chisapani is actually a small settlement area that offers some fantastic views of mountains. There are some hotels in Chisapani; other than that Chisapani is a small settlement of Brahmin, Gurung and Sherpa people. The wide and panoramic views of the mountains from Chisapani are absolutely amazing.
Leaving Chisapani, we head towards Nagarkot through a dense jungle area. The path we walk today is normally straight and passes various villages and lush surrounding. Nagarkot is considered the best viewpoint for the panoramic views of mountains. On a clear day, we can see a series of peaks that starts from Dhaulagiri in the west to Everest and Kanchenjunga in the far west. The sunrise view from the mountain peaks is mesmerizing.
